Project coordinator Kjersti Solend left in March, and we take this opportunity to wish her all the best.
Sigrid Svarstad was hired in March, she will work both as a project coordinator and a market coordinator. Sigrid studied tourism at Oppland University College and has worked in the tourism industry for 25 years.

We are still on the lookout for a translator for the English department. We are now making active recruitment efforts and three candidates were interviewed and performed a trial translation in May.
One of our candidates, Adeline Scott from Glasgow, will be working as a holiday temp in the English department for three months this summer. Seminar
Allegro’s annual strategy seminar was held on the first weekend in June This year, the seminar took place at Herdlevågen Gjestehus, where in addition to the seminar and socialising, the staff tried their luck fishing!
Government Authorisation exam
Ove Pedersen passed the Government Authorisation exam from English into Norwegian in autumn 2008. Congratulations!
Christmas donation to the air ambulance service
For the second year in a row, Allegro decided to donate money to a good cause rather than give Christmas presents to the staff. The year before last, SOS Children’s Villages, Bergen was the lucky recipient, and last Christmas, the Norwegian Air Ambulance Service (Norsk Luftambulanse) received NOK 12,500. |
