The Association of Government Authorised Translators in Norway (STF) is an organisation for translators who have passed a demanding and internationally recognised examination in translation at the Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration (NHH), with particular emphasis on technical, mercantile, legal and economic/administrative terminology. STF’s members are authorised by the Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration (before 2003: the Ministry of Education and Research) to put their stamp and signature on translated documents along with the words ”True translation certified”. |

Achilles Joint Qualification System is a register of suppliers to the oil industry on the Norwegian and Danish continental shelves. Qualification is awarded to goods and services covered by the quality system established and documented in accordance with international standards. |

Sellihca is an EU-approved qualification scheme and supplier register for the entire Nordic energy industry. |

|
Government authorised interpreters
IMDi, the Department of Integration and Diversity issues licences to interpreters who have successfully passed the demanding certification exam. Before a licence can be issued, the candidate signs a pledge to observe the requirements set in the government regulation on the status of government authorised interpreter and the intepreters’ ethical code.
